Took the little dog out early today after breakfast. And did a little neighbourhood lap. She looked very happy and content. I really gave her an ample time to do her sniffaris or sniffing sprees. I read somewhere that not rushing the dog on walks is actually more beneficial for them than the exercise itself.

Yes it is their way of seeing the world. Sniffing is actually first sense for them before seeing.

It seems like a very slow walk for me doesn’t make me sweat. But it is good bonding for us.

Dogs love early morning walks, the temperature is nice and they have all the time to sniff around. I see that leaves are already dropping there.

Here it feels like autumn is starting. The house is starting to to become cold and my puffer jacket is starting to come out. My mother-in-law says Italy is still decently sunny. How is it in your part of Italy?
