What Happened?

I came across a discussion on Facebook asking the question "Where did the evil ugliness we see in the U.S. come from?" I also saw a meme from the actor Jeff Daniels that really made sense and tended to explain it all very well. Some of the things he said were that we lost morality, decency, respect for the rule of law, we normalized verbal abuse, and integrity went out the window. Cheers to you Jeff Daniels. (Wasn't he in Dumb and Dumber?) And he ended by saying that "He (we all know who 'He' is) represents everything wrong not just with America, but with humanity as well." Hurray! I think a lot of people who are decent people are wondering what happened. When did this ugliness start? It started with Trump. He made the people who questioned authority, wanted things their way, disrespected those who were different from them, etc. He made them feel okay to finally come out of their closets and be heard. He normalized and made it okay to stop going by societies laws and do their ugly and horrific thing. We need to get him out of office and get people back on the straight and narrow.
