Gas prices continue to rise in the Bay Area.

Gas prices are up again in the Bay Area. I find myself wondering how high they can go. It is literally over six dollars per gallon for Regular here at some stations near my house. Are gas prices still rising where you live? Do you think they will drop in a couple of months if Democrats in back the House and Senate in November?

I have not even looked, since your last gas prices post. I even drove right past a gas station and go I am not looking. I am glad no one was in the car with me because because they would have told me its 6 hundred and 19 dollars a gallon. I also think we in such a corrupt time, supply and demand plays such a small role at this point. Its definitely not working the way it was intended to work. Trump was trying to control Iran's oil Market and the region in general, Iran flipped him off and said we have more power than you think. Trump lost bigly and you cannot tell me that has anything to do with supply and demand.

A reduction in supply can drive the price up if demand stays steady.

@TheHorse Which it will because no one has invented anything sustainable to get us off oil. You know what they say with oil from the ocean. its miles deep into the earth for a reason. If you have to go to such extreme lengths to get it, mother earth probably did not want you to have it. She gave you every thing else right in front of your face. To bad mother earth never realized how greedy people would become. That thinking is kind of like spiritual and folklore mixed with reality all in one. I cannot remember where I heard it from, probably some documentary on Discovery I think. Mankind is just getting worse with its greed, the bad dudes are winning and not many are learning how everything we ever needed was already here for us to thrive on, but people always want more and they will destroy everything to get it.

It is all supply and demand. They know we need fuel. As long as we all keep buying it the prices will continue to go up. Doesn't matter who is in the House and Senate--it is the oil companies ripping us off. We had a small price increase this week; up to $3.69 a gallon for regular.

Doesn't the price of crude oil affect gas prices? And can't foreign policy affect the price of crude oil?

Rising rapidly again here, as well. Over 20 cents per gallon in two days.
