So this morning we had a ride to Burnham as we had something ordered that we had to pick up. After that we went for a carvery .....you know how we like a carvery ! I had roast turkey and roast beef with roast potatoes, roast parsnips, green beans, cauliflower cheese, red cabbage and of course a giant Yorkshire pudding. I had gravy and horseradish sauce. Cheekily I got an extra giant Yorkie and roast potatoes and roast parsnips.....that was put in a takeout box and brought to the caravan so that will be my tea tomorrow, along with the fagg,t that I brought home from last night's meal I will just have to make some gravy ! I'm sure I can manage that to go with my free meal ! What have you had to eat today ?

That carvery sounds proper lovely, all them roasties and that giant Yorkie got me hungry just reading it. Smart move getting extra for tomorrow's tea too, nothing better than a free meal sorted. I just had a sandwich today, nowhere near as good as yours lol.

Burnham? He was up my neck of the woods running the Great North Run. I haven’t had a carvery in a long while. I used to have a Yorkshire with my Sunday dinner every week, but now I rarely bother. I had chicken with pots and veg. Bisto gravy. Nice

@traceyjayne I made meatballs and pasta in a romesco sauce. My wife has informed me that she’ll do the meal on Christmas Eve.
