Is the Robin the human spirit ?

I was just waking up at about 7am on a warm summer's day. A robin had flown in the big window. It sat on my open laptop and looked at me in bed. We exchanged knowing looks that this would be a brief encounter. He/She flew out my bedroom door soon after. Went to see if it was trapped in a room or something but had found a way out through the landing (upstairs hall) window real sharpish. Told a mate about it. They said it can mean extreme good fortune or DEATH! The next week another mate messaged me to come around and pick up a laptop they didn't need. I went around a few days later and knocked the door but they didn't answer. Next day I got a text from someone else to say my friend who wanted to give me the laptop had died?? Death it was. Was that Robin a messenger come to collect? Watch out for the Robbins.
