A strange and probably little known fact of very little interest is that in England there are quite a few parks known as Tittybottle. One, in Bishop Auckland, started life as Cockton Hill, but was renamed as Tittybottle Park by the wise old heads on the local council. It seems that this was a common name for parks on the edge of well-to-do areas of Victorian England where families could afford to hire nurse maids to look after their babies. The nurse maids would take the rich babies out in their perambulators and congregate with other maids where they would sit and gossip while feeding their young charges from tittybottles. I wonder how Mylot Is going to cope with so many t!tties in one post.

It's funny what's acceptable in some eras is rather frowned upon in others.

Haha that's actually a fun little piece of history, never heard that before. Funny how a name like that just stuck around for generations and nobody bothered changing it. Mylot gonna have a field day moderating this one lol.
