Dear friend. I would have a harder time without her. She drove me to the pool this morning then to the train station. My town has a classy historic train depot. This coming Monday friend will take me back to the station. I will take the train north about four hours. My niece will pick me up. Sweet niece says she will ferry me wherever I choose to go. I just want to go to the Hovander Homestead park- that's just north of where I was born. Gorgeous yesteryear park. I'm bringing the rollator so that I can attempt the half mile walk. I also will ask for a drive across rural Skagit county. Layers on layers of memories in that county for me. My sister is in a Memory Care home just West of there. I need to visit with her one more time. Friend has agreed to babysit Spider Monk kitten while I am gone. Hubby is holding a writer's meeting at our house Monday afternoon so he will get some help with the dogs. It will take basically a chunk of two days for me to get one clear day of visiting the north country. But it will be worth it.
