New toilet getting closer.

Our toilet guy came round this afternoon to measure up. He told us dozens of ways in which we could spend money on the new facilities we propose installing. Fancy tiles on the walls, fancy etching on the glass of the shower screen. He hesitated when my wife asked if it were possible to get a toilet with a floral pattern inside the bowel, all pinks and lilacs. He thought she was joking. What I asked after listening to him for what seemed to be a very long time, was about the possibility of getting a toilet that would shout encouragement at users who were sitting there trying very hard to overcome an episode of constipation, and then applaud vigorously when success was achieved. He wasn’t too sure about that. Nor was he impressed when I told him we needed space for seven toilet roll holders on the wall beside the potty so that we could have seven different coloured rolls of paper hanging there, one for each day of the week, but each within easy reach. Now we need to go down to the showroom to look at everything that is possible in the world of bathrooms.
