Burgundy, reserved!

Got a call yesterday from the manager of our telecom.
"iPhone 18 pro max in burgundy is now reserved for you!"
He didn't even ask me if I wanted one. He just made the reservation. Well, Raymond knows me well anyway, and he does the same every single year.
He knows I'm not getting the duo too. One, it's highly expensive, two it doesn't have. telephoto. And three, I just ordered a new iPad. So getting the duo would be too impractical.
Like what Craig said, you get the duo only if you don't have an iPhone and an iPad. But you have both!

Yeah, Raymond takes care of me very well. At least when it comes to my iPhone needs.

I’m a Samsung man myself.
Nice phone though, and colour. I tend to go for black. It matches my mood.

When Samsung released their very first Samsung Galaxy phone, I had it. I thought I was gonna like it. But I always get back to iPhone.
I find android too complicated, too many features. I'm a simple woman with simple needs. All I need is an apple a day to keep the doctor away.

@toniganzon Too complicated? I thought they’d be very similar in functions? Never mind about the apples, it’s all about the Apps these days, and I’ve got plenty of those. Most are slated though.

I got a new macbook instead. In sky blue this time. Better than silver. I still have my iphone 16pro. I might be curious about the duo, but I'd need to feel a store model, first.

@toniganzon No. I got a mackbook air, m5. It has something they are calling sky blue as a color. I doubt I'll be able to tell, because it's Apple. And no, the Neo would be a downgrade for me, too. I need contrasting backlit keys, not keys that blend into the body. I consider myself pretty good typing, and I don't look down to find keys, but I still have to look at the screen and keyboard even if I can't see the keys themselves. And, I've found that backlit keys make that so much easier.
Plus, I need magsafe, so yeah. no. not going to risk it.

@kaylachan Yeah MagSafe is a life saver. I never looked at the keyboard. Our grandfather taught us to do touch typing when I was just 9 years old. We were taught to use the proper way of typing by covering the keys of the typewriter so we would memorize it.
That's why I'm really good at typing and even got exempted from school in typing classes coz I'm way to advanced.

You got the MacBook Neo? I got a amcbook pro and a MacBook Air. A MacBook Neo would be a downgrade for me. It's too basic.
I have the 17 pro max. I always go for the bigger phone coz I just can't use. small phone at all.
I don't think I have the need for the duo even if I could afford it. I just don't find it practical as I just ordered my iPad Air m4 which is set to arrive on the 21st.

Haha that's funny he just went ahead and reserved it without even asking, but I guess thats what happens when someone knows you that well. Burgundy sounds like a nice color choice too. Makes sense to skip the duo if you already got the iphone and ipad covered.

Raymond clearly knows you very well if he is already reserving the phone without even asking. Burgundy sounds like a nice choice though. At least you have someone making sure you do not miss out on the new one every year!

@septabchips Oh yes, even if I tell him too many times I don't need an upgrade, he'd still do it. He knows anyway that even if I say I don't, I still want to.

@toniganzon It definitely sounds like Raymond has your annual upgrade already built into his routine. At least you do not have to worry about remembering to reserve one yourself!
