There’s no rhyme or reason as to why gas prices sky rocket and free fall. I snapped this photo at a gas station about a mile from my house Who can afford to commute to work Every day?

They went up locally because of the festivals. Gas is 50+ cheaper in Clarksville or New Albany. The general reason is what our president is doing.
