I'm still not sure how I got roped into being the advisor for this club. Yes I love to cook and bake but I like to just jet out of work at 1:35pm when the bell rings. I guess I did it to help out a friend. It definitely wasn't for the money. The stipend is like $600 for the year. It definitely isn't making a big deal in my bank account.
Anyway I saw that they were offering a fundraising box filled with trial-sized packets of spices and blends. $3 each. I thought it would be a good way to make some extra funds for the Baking Club. I had to pay $99 to get it but I will be reimbursed for that and yes the club will make bank on what is sold.
I'm not one to get involved with selling clothing or other fundraising stuff. We do well with the bake sales ($231 today!) but I thought this was an easy way to get some more funds and very germane for the Baking Club.
We'll see how it works out!

Lol the things we do for friends and free labor huh. $600 for a whole year is basically pocket change but that spice fundraiser idea sounds smart, way better fit than selling random stuff nobody needs. Hope it sells out fast, $231 from bake sales alone is already impressive.
