I Do not Think Most People Like Dogs

They just use them for a purpose, they not family. They get in the way, why did you get one. Like AI people ready to make their point clear, dogs are our tools and we intend to use them. That is all I have to say., unless people want to chime in.

Nah I can't get with this take, my dog is basically family at this point. Calling them just tools feels cold, they give love and loyalty for real. Everyone got their own view though, this just ain't mine.

Many people in the UK would disagree with you. Yes, we have working dogs on farms, but in the main, people keep dogs as pets and see them as part of the family.

Overall, I don't think that is true in Australia. Some are absolutely dotty over the pets and spend far more on them than I ever would. The pet aisle in our supermarket is longer and the baking goods aisle.
