I took in an orange tabby cat like 6 years ago. He has been very expensive (2 unblockings and PU surgery) but he is super sweet and friendly. Fine. The idiot bolts out the door whenever he gets the chance. He doesn't know where he is going but he goes there really fast. I am so sick of trying to lure him out of hedges and stuff. Beyond over it. So I was just replacing the batteries in my memorial lantern for my dad and the freak ran out the door. You'd think I was starving him or abusing him. I'm tired and just not in the mood. I said "Go with God!" I didn't even care if I saw him again. By the time I opened the door to put the lantern back outside he was sitting at the door waiting to come inside. Moron. I love my cats but I'm so over trying to chase this orange a$$hole down.

Maybe he just liked to be chased. Hopefully you taught him a lesson. He is so cute.

He's beautiful and super super sweet and friendly. But the creep runs out the door like an effing ninja as if he is being abused here.

I know cats can move very fast-they seem to be able to go from a legarthic lump of fur to a lightning bolt in less than a second. I’m glad he came right back, but how very frustrating!

Orange cats really do just have main character energy, running off like he's got somewhere important to be. Glad he came back on his own this time so you didnt have to chase him through the hedges again. Sounds exhausting but at least he knows where home is, even if he dont act like it half the time.

what is interesting is that I'm up here on the 3rd floor. He bolts down to the bottom but somewhere in his mind he knows he lives up here.
