Off to Bloodbath and Beyond!

The mice have eaten through all of the mattresses at my cabin in Montana. I am going to get rid of them and buy one or two futons, along with frames, to replace them. I will also buy some large plastic "containers" for the futons, so the mice don't turn them into nests when I am not there. I have my eyes on a certain futon/frame combination. I will see if they are available at my local Bed Bath and Beyond. Have you ever bought a futon? Have you ever shopped at Bed Bath and Beyond?

I bought a futon once. Poor hubby had the joy of putting it together. Then I found it to be too low for me to sit on. We ended up giving it to somebody.

@TheHorse The futon was taking up precious space. When I sat on it I could hardly get up from it so it had to go.

Oh no, mice destroying mattresses is the worst, glad you got a plan though.

The place I tried to visit today is no more. I will search for another one.

Yes, I bought a futon once. It wasn’t super comfortable, but that was 25 years ago, and I imagine they’re a lot better now than back then. Your budget is probably better than mine was too so hopefully yours will be better than mine. It’s nice to see Bed Bath and Beyond make a comeback.

Well, the store I went to was no longer there. I hope they have not gone to "online only."

I did buy a futon several years back. It was the most UNcomfortable thing I ever slept on. And your bill at BB&B will probably be a near bloodbath. Good luck.

Buy something metal for storage. If they really want in they will chew through plastic

No, but I want to get one. Maybe when my son comes down, I will try to get him to take the bunk beds that are currently in there apart, and try to sell the mattresses. I haven't been able to sell them as a unit.

Is a futon like a sofabed. We had one before but it's a bit low compared to sofa. I still prefer a bed though. I don't like mice. I hope you can get rid of them
