Hey everyone, how are you doing?
Today was shopping day with my mom. We usually go every other Saturday. Just Walmart today.
I stocked up on some meats - our London broil (which isn't technically a cut of steak but a cooking method. It's usually top sirloin steak)
Also got 2 chuck roasts. I usually cook them slow in a Dutch oven pan. I'd love to find my crock pot for it though, and just throw it in overnight.
Got 60 eggs, some bacon, more butter, bottled water, salmon, etc...
So now we should be good for two weeks. We still have some London broils at home, plus some pork options (not my favorite though).
Still tempted to go to Costco to get a big piece of sirloin. Tried a ribeye recently and it wasn't my favorite.
What's your favorite cut of steak? What would you have bought (or add) if you were shopping on a carnivore diet?

That's fair. Most are so expensive. Even the ones I got were pretty pricey, but some of the cheaper cuts.

I can definitely understand that. Growing up we didn't have a lot of beef. If we did it was burgers, or roast. Steaks were rare. I think for me , we had pork too much lol... And that's why I don't really care for it now

Just now
Sirloin steak is at least $10 a pound here now. Ground beef is $7. Ground turkey is a lot less. We don't hardly ever even eat or buy red meat at all now. Most of the stores do not even display hardly any steaks or the really expensive cuts. They don't sell well now, and they can't afford to throw them out, so they really limit their steak supply.

I'm not sure. George is a ground beef fan and I tend to be a chicken person myself. But, then I'm one of those who loves all kind of food.
