Last night was fun. This morning is not.

Last night was my brother and sister-in-law’s 16th wedding anniversary, so we went over to their place to celebrate. There was karaoke, lots of drinking, and apparently, a little more drinking than I could handle.
I’ve never been that drunk before. I literally have no idea how I ended up in bed. Just a complete blank after a certain point. The only thing I vaguely remember is laughing way too hard at something that wasn’t even funny.
At least I’m not one of those drunks who goes berserk and starts punching people. Or worse… the ones who get all emotional and start crying.
Anyway, I’m now paying the price with a pounding headache and a stomach that seems to have declared war on me.
Have you ever had a really bad hangover? What’s your tried-and-tested way of surviving one?

Just now
Everything that is too much is not good and a bit dangerous.

OH yes, after drinking two liters of tequila with a friend. Just the two of us. The next day she had bruises on her knees that she had no idea where it came from. I had the worst hangover the next day.
The best cure for a hangover? Ice cream!

I inadvertently got very drunk only a few years ago so well into my 70s! Funnily enough, I didn't have a really bad hangover.

I've had way too many to count. I don't drink anymore. I don't miss them.
