Designed My Own Food Allergy Cards

When you're on a river cruise you tell them your food allergies and they make you a card and you lay the card by your plate at dinner every night so the server can make sure he doesn't give you something that has an allergen in it. They're super focused on food allergies in Europe, so I got to thinking about having cards for here. I looked online and Etsy had some and Amazon had some, but they didn't fit my needs so I went to a place online that makes regular old business cards for $10 and designed these. I ordered a pack of 50. I think I could do a better job on design next time from my big computer, but I was laying here in bed the other night doing it from my phone.

The cards are a good idea since you have food allergies and you travel frequently. No one wants to be sick, and especially not on a vacation.

@LooeyVille I know one hard thing about restaurants and allergies is the chance of cross contamination thing. So often they have to use the same grill or griddle for eggs or fish or whatever, that they use for other things. The foods are not touching each other, but the residue can remain. I have two grandsons with some food allergies, it can be difficult when you eat out.

I think I might use them here too when I eat out at local restaurants although I’m sure they will have no idea what to do about it and no interest in telling me if their food has allergens and it are not, but hey, all I can do is try

That is a good idea since food servers will have knowledge of what you cannot eat due to your allergies.

Sure. You are going to love it. So many templates for free, and you can upload your own photos for free. You can also edit a video there for free.

Good idea to make your own but also a good idea on the part of the cruise lines to have these cards on an individual's table.

That's such a smart idea, wish more restaurants here did the card thing like Europe. Ten bucks for 50 cards is a steal too, way cheaper than the Etsy ones probably. Making them from your phone in bed is real dedication lol.
