You could scare yourself to death by reading your medical reports

Following up on something @xfiacre said once a while back about me, seeming to have an awful lot of doctors appointments I decided to look at my medical records to see if I could put together a list of all of my ailments I have a ridiculously high number of problems for a relatively healthy person of my age Wanna see a list of them? I don’t even think this is all of them because this is a list from two years ago and there’s been new things since then, but here we go. All of these are still current issues. hypogammaglobulinemia Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis Mild cognitive impairment Ménière’s disease Anxiety Depression Food, allergies Seasonal allergies Osteoarthritis GERD Intracranial atherosclerosis Brain fistula Hyperlipidemia Coronary arthrosclerosis Bradycardia Heart murmur Obstructive sleep apnea Chronic migraines Mitral valve prolapse Aortic valve prolapse Enlarged heart Planters fasciitis Eyelash mites Bone spurs in both knees Heel spur in one foot Degenerative disc disease in lumbar thoracic and cervical areas of the back And those are just the things that the doctor have been able to figure out. Isn’t that just the most ridiculously long list or do most people my age have a list of things this long is this common or am I a weirdo?

Have the dust mites in your eye lashes been taken care of yet? I remember that medicine was expensive. I didn’t even know I had heart problems until I read a recent medical report. Shocked me. I didn’t bother telling my family that; no need to freak them out.

@LooeyVille Oh, you got the grant? Fantastic! Last I remembered you hadn’t qualified, and were going to have to pay out of pocket once you got back from the trip you were about to go on.

If I remember right the eye doctor said it it takes two months of taking eye drops to fix the eyelash mite problem. It took me a month to get the drops and the grant to pay for them so I’ve only been taking the drops for a month

That's a lot to take in. The feet/legs alone, between the heel spur, knee issues, and Planter's fasciitis, is enough to make a person not even want to walk. Can you not get your Planter's fasciitis fixed? And the knees and heel? I had heel spurs on one foot, they were very painful. That was years ago, but I had surgery on them which helped a lot.

@LooeyVille Well, that's not always easy to do when it all hurts. Doctors! Who can figure them out!

I don’t “freak out” about things. If I see something in a report I’ll make a note of it and ask my doctor. When they did a brain scan they noted that I had an abnormal amount of something. I asked the doctor to explain it to me, and she said I have a small brain, size wise. Probably all those songs in there block anything else from getting in!

@LooeyVille I suspect that your planning and always having trips planned for the near future keeps you alert and motivated. I’ve postponed my planned trip to Greece for 6-20 October because we need a new bathroom. Bummer.

What I like about my doctor, he just tell me and his other patients how severe our condition as if it is nothing, that makes us a bit relax. But of course I thank God that He always save the day.

Such a long list to take in. I don't even know some of them. I don't want to list mine, that will surely scare me too

I agree with you. That's the most ridiculously long list I've ever heard of. I can't imagine how you cope.

That's a lot to be carrying around, honestly can't imagine keeping track of all that. You're not a weirdo, your body's just been dealing with way more than most people ever have to think about. Hope you get some answers on the new stuff too.
