Hey everyone, how are you all doing?
It's Sunday morning now, but I thought I would share how I did yesterday.
I did wake up to a new low on the scale, so now down 18 pounds. I know, I was close yesterday, but this is a new low.
I ended up fasting from 5-ish PM on Friday, till around 1 PM Saturday.
My first meal was a carby meal - after shopping my mom and I went to McDonalds. I got 6 nuggets and a medium fry; I would have gotten small but I didn't see the option within the meal options. - Anyways, I got 66 carbs from the meal.
I did take a bit more insulin to account for the carbs.
My sugar since the meal has been great - it's dipped into the 70s sometimes but mostly stayed in the 80s and 90s.
I think it helped that I didn't have any sweets after.
I am hoping that keepig my numbers low will help the weight stay down and not see it go up and deal with losing water weight for a week. We will see.
I needed some more protein, so around 8:30 I had some steak. I reverse seared a tri tip roast steak (not sure the exact name of the cut of steak). Would have eaten earlier but it took almost an hour to get it all finished.
My protein and calories were way under today, so that was not the greatest. So I would hope to see the scale go down again tomorrow.
I'll share what happened next time.

Yes that's the best feeling. Then it going up, or even not moving is the worst

Well the "London Broil" is about the same size but only takes about 5-10 in the oven with a 3 minute sear on each side lol. The tri tip was a lot longer though

Are you diabetic? I hope everything went well.
I just recovered from a severe relapse, but I thank God that I am now okay.
