How on Earth Did I Not Know This?

I normally do all of my mylotting on my desktop computer using a full keyboard. But for the past few months I’ve been doing it more from bed using my phone. It has always been much harder using my phone due to the keyboard situation and everything. So I always thought to myself, “I wish I could talk into my phone to write posts like I do when I text people instead of having to type everything.“ I assumed it was something that my lot would have to do on its end to enable that feature But guess what? I have talked all of the words of this post into my phone and it’s typing it for me. I don’t know if this has been something I could’ve been doing all along or if it’s the latest iOS update to my iPhone, but somehow suddenly today I figured out how to do it It’s the most wonderful thing I’ve learned in a long time Did you know that you could do this?

I don't use our phone to do stuff on other than just keeping in touch with our Dr's & emergencies. I'm glad to know you learned a new thing with your phone, so many people use their phones for so much stuff it's crazy to me, I rather be on my desktop or my laptop or even my tablet than the phone any day.

Yes, I've been doing that if I feel like not typing. I also do the type dragging on the keyboard. I usually do this at home. It's easier. But when I'm out, I do type dragging or typing

@looeyville I ditched my laptop and desktop, and my eyesight isn’t what it used to be so I’m going to try this. Thanks for the brilliant idea.

I didn't know you could do this but I'm not surprised that you can. I think I'd still prefer to write my posts but good for you.

I've tried it twice to see what it would ''look like'' in print. Maybe my phone picks up too much or something...and the TV is pretty much always on here so there's that. Some of it was perfect and then it would get nonsensical....it got hilarious when my son sneezed twice and typed two lines of gibberish. Maybe I will try it again sometime, hey, at least I had a good giggle over those sneezes being typed out! Yours is perfect.

I didn't know that either, honestly, that's a nice find. I been typing everything the hard way on my phone too, my thumbs will thank me for this. Gonna try it out next time I'm stuck in bed with a post to write.

Yes, one of our Mylotters does this with her iPhone, and is all the time noting when she uses talk to text to post on Mylot. I’ve never got in the habit of doing it myself. I just flat out forget.

I do not know this feature is available on the phone. For the time being, I will stick to laptop or use the phone keyboard.
