Today we didn't go for the usual carvery, we went to a local pub.
I've just posted about my mixed grill.
The Mister chose the Sunday Chicken dinner ....
This included ...
Piece of chicken, roast potatoes, carrots, tender stem broccoli, peas, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and gravy.
He said it was really lovely, but obviously not like my Mom's roast dinners
What have you had to eat today ?

That chicken dinner sounds good. My family used to always go to grammas for dinner on Sundays. She usually fixed beef roast. It was so good. Along with potatoes, carrots, onions. So good.
Not sure what we will have for dinner. It's 3 hours away.
I've never had Yorkshire pudding.

I’m having a day off cooking, so my wife is making another chicken and broccoli and potato bake. Roast dinner is my daughter‘s favourite meal.

Your husband's choice of plater sounds tempting.
I don't feel like cooking these days, so today I just made some scrambled eggs on toast for lunch. It was breakfast for lunch scene. I love small pubs for evening drinks and dinners though. Where I live it is too loud and shiny. Nothinbg tastes good.
