The Deer Were Trying

Yesterday we seen a total of 6 deer. I swear they were after us. And it wasn't just the new jeep. On the way in we seen 4 while driving my old truck. Then after getting the jeep we seen one coming home from LaRue and later one coming home from the reunion. Those last 2 decided to run across the road.
This picture is the first time I have seen Mary Jane kitten in on her own. And she was ignoring both cats 
. Catching all 3 like that will probably be rare. Ignore my dishes. I need to wash them.
It's being a rainy morning so far. So I might not play with the jeep too much until tomorrow.

The cats look like they are in cahoots about something. Beware, Mom!
When I drove home from the big day of appointments Friday evening, a herd of deer were crossing the state highway. Harvesting is slowly beginning, that always scares the deer out of the gazillion corn fields and sends them all Willy-nilly out to the roads. I watch for them constantly.

Mine go in streaks. Sometimes I see several and other times none at all.
It is deer season it seems, this time of the year there are more deer collisions than any other time of the year, it lasts until early November.
