Changing Things Up

Happy Monday Everyone! it was pleasant surprise to wake up to sunshine this morning when I expected rain. Guess Mother Nature changed her mind 
Another weekend flew by and I feel like I accomplished quite a bit.
Saturday my daughter and son in law came over and with my youngest daughter they rearranged all the furniture in the living room. I was really tired of the way the furniture was arranged so the three of them moved everything while I supervised. Certainly glad for their help and it really does look better now.
Of course, one thing leads to another and now I want new curtains. Will be looking for a sale and hopefully can find something and then get them up before the holidays.
Rearranging the furniture was fun especially since I didn't have to do any of the heavy lifting/work etc. but had to make sure that we left room for the Christmas tree. It would terrible to do all that and then not have a spot for the tree.
We were laughing remembering when I was here looking at houses and every house had to have the criteria...where would we put the Christmas tree.
It's nice to sit here this morning, have my coffee and enjoy the change.
Do you like to change things around or a once you do it that's it kind of person?

I can fully relate to this
When Yvonne asked me that when we moved in here 6 years ago I went out and bought a tiny tree lol

I keep saying im going to downsize to a smaller tree but I do love my big tree when it's up and all decorated

I would really like it in front of the window but the Christmas tree works well in the corner so that's where it will stay. I always say that one of these days I'm going to downsize the size of the tree and get a tabletop but I do love my big tree when it's all decorated and the lights are lit.

@Marilynda1225 I have a tabletop that sits on my bookcase year round, and another one that will come out of my storage closet soon and set it up in the living room.

I don't move things often, as I am usually the only one to do it. It seems you just re arranged your furniture not long ago. It must be a hobby.

I love that you looked so intently for a place that had the perfect spot for a Christmas tree.
I think I’ve rearranged my furniture once, and it was ten years ago. With my dad being 71 now, and my dad’s back being so bad, I’d have to get some church members to come help me. They did it when I moved in, so maybe I could get them to do it again!

I do like to change rooms around.
And doesn't everyone shop for a house with the search criteria being a window for the tree? I know that I did.
I got us new curtains for the family room early this year.
I don't know if you have the Home Sense chain there, but they had such lovely choices. I feel like my curtains are so pretty, and we both like them.

Actually the Home Sense has a wall that is open to the other side which is Marshalls.

I don't think we have a Home Sense chain but we do have Home Goods which might be similar. Shopping for new curtains sounds like fun but I don't know if I want to decide on a color beforehand or just see if something jumps out at me. My room is very neutral so really ill have a wide variety of choices

Haha love that supervising counts as helping, smart move honestly. New furniture arrangement sounds so refreshing, and now you got me curious about those curtains too. I'm more of a once it's done leave it alone kinda person, but this makes me wanna switch things up lol

The room has a totally different vibe with the rearranging of the furniture. Now I'm tired of the colors of the curtains even though they are still in good condition. I might just repurpose them in another room to feel less guilty spending money on new ones.
I don't' switch things around very often but I do know people who do it frequently.
