What’s the worst thing you ever got for free?

I was given a mat for your feet, free to review. You set your bare feet on it, and you selected the power level, and it would massage one’s feet. Only it electrocuted me! My leg shook like a dog’s for ten minutes. I know that’s serious, but it made me laugh because I was involuntarily twitching. When I went to review it, I found out it has been pulled from the site! I always wondered why they didn’t inform me as soon as they got the first reported warning. Incidentally, have you ever given someone something for free, and they complained about it? You later do it again, and they complain yet again? What is the worst thing you ever got for free?

Oh my goodness, that think was not at all safe. You can sue them if they did not inform you about the potential danger. I can remember nothing bad I got for free.

@AmbiePam I remember that my niece received an electric blanket and during the night the cable emitted a spark that started a fire. She was injured and sued the company.

I got a Tens unit once that did that to Chris. So I wouldnt even touch it.

Pain management gave me a tens unit, but I don’t feel comfortable using it. In physical therapy, it went great. They knew exactly where to place them. With no experience, I feel like I’m flying blind now.

@ambiepam I won a free holiday in Spain. We were really poor at the time and were very excited. But we couldn’t take it because we had to get to London to catch the plane, it was room only accommodation, not even with breakfast thrown in, insurance not included etc So disappointing.

That sounds terrifying honestly, glad you're okay after your leg shaking like that for ten minutes. Makes sense they pulled it quick but kinda messed up they didnt warn you sooner. And yes, free stuff complaints are a whole mood, some people will find something to say no matter what you give them.
