Good afternoon

5:19 p.m. I've already had lunch, and it's 29 degrees Celsius right now. Thankfully, there's power, so I'm charging my devices. Earlier, someone asked me on the forum if it's not possible for me to get a regular job. Honestly, getting a good job in Nigeria isn't that easy. Unemployment is high, and a lot of times, you need connections. Even people who have jobs are often underemployed and underpaid. I worked for years and experienced this myself, which is why I eventually decided to start my own business. It hasn't been easy, but I'd rather keep building my business and take whatever online gigs I can get than remain underemployed. Sometimes, you really have to live here to understand what we go through. I wish everyone a wonderful day.

I never once wondered why you didn’t get a “regular” job. I can’t imagine how difficult things are in Africa, let alone Nigeria. I’m proud that you took the initiative to start your own business.

I didn't ask him why, just if it was impossible to get a regular job. I realize the economy isn't the same everywhere. There was no judgment involved. We all have our situations.

@snowy22315 I didn’t know he was talking about you, snowy, or what context anything had been asked. I was just talking in general. You’re not a rude or intrusive person.

@AmbiePam There aren't many of those on here now, the ones that are don't typically last long with a few possible exceptions.

That's good about having power.... and that is understandable about the job thing. That is a good idea to start your own business

The business has to be stable though and able to support your cost of living as well as your retirement someday. The way the economy is nowadays, businesses that aren't stable seem to suffer a lot and close down.

I sometimes find it hard to explain things that go on here too.
