Updates to Previous Stories

I have several updates to things I've been talking about on myLot but I didn't want to write 3 different posts, so I'm accumulating them all here.
Walgreens never did charge me that $85.15 even though I called them a week ago to let them know the payment was stuck pending action on their side. It's been 15 days since the purchase. I guess I got it free.
Health Insurance did in fact approve my eye surgery. It's scheduled for October 28th.
The massage place did finally reach out to me and they're going to refund my money for the date of service where I got spit on and reimburse me for a gift card I had there that I won't use because I'll never go there again. Then the owner wants to talk with me on a Zoom call next week.
So it's starting off to be a pretty good Friday.

I've been trying to catch up here so your update helps. Glad things are turning around but geez that whole massage thing sounds horrible.

Ha, mine is the opposite I keep getting charged for things I never purchased. It is totally crazy and frustrating.

@llooeyville The owner probably wants to make sure you don’t take things further I imagine. At least on a zoom call s/he can’t spit on you!

Sounds like things are finally turning around for you, that Walgreens thing is honestly a win. Glad the eye surgery got approved too, October isn't too far off. Hope that Zoom call with the massage place owner goes smooth, you deserve that refund after what happened.
