Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 55 degrees F, cloudy, and windy here at the Jersey Shore. Here comes the nor'easter! Work was busy today. I lectured lectured lectured. It made the day go by quickly. As I wrote earlier I picked up 2 coverages today. I think those were my first ones for the year. That covers most of the grocery bill from yesterday's delivery. I got the reimbursement check for the Baking Club's spice fundraiser. I can set the box on fire now for all I care. Some coworkers said that they wanted to buy some of the trial packets but nothing yet. A member here asked to get 5 of the 6 options. An extended family member saw my rant on FB and sent me a $25 donation to support the kids. The new supervisor did an informal "walk-though" this afternoon. I was glad that she got to see me doing my thing as she doesn't know me. Unfortunately "my thing" today was talking about the 4 categories of organic compounds. I explained that our cells run best on carbohydrates but they will also burn fat and then protein (muscle) if carbs are not available. Ya know how I show the students that? I show them a picture of Matthew McConaughey shirtless and looking all buff on the beach and then tell them about how he starved himself to lose weight and look like an AIDS patient in the movie Dallas Buyer's Club. Yeah way to make an impression, NJChicaa. I spoke with her briefly after and said "well I hope you liked the eye candy". That made her laugh. I'm back at the apartment with the cat crew. The cleaning lady was supposed to come today but just as I got back here she texted to ask if she could come tomorrow instead. Fine. Whatever. She reschedules like 50% of the time. It really doesn't matter. She's been coming here for years so I trust her to be here even if I'm not. I have no plans to go anywhere so its all moot. (or as Joey Tribbiani would say "its all moo") No big plans for the afternoon/evening which is fine with me. I'm tired after a week of work and being so sick the other day. I'm sure I'll be in bed early. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?
