User-Friendly Gestures: Can You Endure It

It has been a month since a virtual friend in a livestream ignored me. In short, he was unable to join my livestream because of a gifter's request. Since then, he has stopped entering or visiting my livestream. It's okay with me because he only recognizes me when he needs something. It is commonly said that someone is a user-friendly soul in this world. I have a big heart, so I brush off the idea of knowing them like this. At the back of my mind, they can still change to a new leaf. However, it never happens for some, and that includes him. What is your standpoint in dealing with a user-friendly person? Those who show to be friends only to obtain something from you are dangerous people to avoid.

It is indeed a bad feeling to have this kind of friend. Because of this, I decided to stop communicating with him. It is his loss for taking granted the friendship.

That's rough, but honestly you sound like you already know his pattern won't change much. Some people just show up when they need something and disappear the rest of the time, and it's not really on you to keep giving chances. Protecting your energy for people who actually show up for you sounds like the better move here.

You have a point. It is unhealthy to be treated this way by someone whom I thought was a real friend. It is better to love oneself than to be used by others.
