how many hours of sleep do you get during the summer vacation

Does this differ when the fall rolls around and you have to get back to work? I am a teacher and this can be confusing for me. I still put my alarm at the same time and get up at the same time, but I have a tendency to go to sleep late during the summer.. What do you do?

I always wake up at the same time all year round. When I worked with my husband, we always got up at 5:30 in the morning. I am retired but I still do. I usually sleep from 6 to 7 hours per night.

Once I went to college, I never really slept in much after that. Right now, I generally don’t sleep past 5am even though I go to bed around midnight.

We're retired but I'm mostly up around 7am. I don't often sleep past that.

Same thing happens to me every year honestly. Summer just messes up my whole sleep schedule and then harmattan hits and I'm dragging myself outta bed at 6am still half asleep. What helps me a little is moving my bedtime up like 15 mins earlier each night starting a week before school starts instead of just diving straight in..
