Verdict on the Odyssey and the Filipino restaurant

Both were very good. I was a little concerned that the Odyssey would get boring since it was 3 hours long, but there really weren't any slow parts in the movie. It kept you really wanting to see what was next. Luckily, I did remember some of it, from 9th grade English, but it was good to refresh my memory.
The food was good although rather expensive. There was a lot of it too. I brought back at least half home. I had the pork and chicken lumpia and Palaboka I think was the name of it or something very similar. I think I will skip the dishes though..but I will wander in there next time I am in the area, and get either a dessert or smoothie.

3 hours!?
I would have fallen asleep after half an hour
It was boring 50 years ago it won't have changed
We don't have a Filipino restaurant here in our small town
But we need to get one
Loads of Filipino girls working in the town now

Nothing boring about the movie at all. Watch the trailer. Believe me I can get bored in movies, but I wasn't bored once.

Well I saw the trailer
And the Graham Norton show had something about it ages ago and that put me off as did Samantha Morton and Anne Hathaway
Glad you weren't bored though
I would have left the film early and gone and stuffed my face eating Filipino food

I know there are Filipino restaurants around Oklahoma City; there just happens to be far more Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Japanese places than Filipino. Though, I’d love to try some of the traditional food.
A three hour movie is a little too long for me, but then maybe if I saw it in a theater with my feet up my back wouldn’t bother me from sitting so long. I honestly don’t remember the last three hour movie I saw; I certainly didn’t try the 3 1/2 hour Titanic.

I saw Titanic in the theater twice. However, the longest movie I ever saw was Ghandi. I think that was close to 4. Gone With the Wind is another 4 hour movie. I saw that back in the day. There is an intermission in it.

@AmbiePam Gone With The Wind the book is also really good. I read that when I was maybe 14 or so..probably the same time as we were studying "The Odyssey."

Palabok is a glass stir fried noodle.
I think it's expensive because they have to source some ingredients from here too.

Does it have a point the odyssey. I want to check it out but religious is so weird and I am weird but come on dude, I love people free and free of thought but its usually so weird and it oppresses thought.
