Hoops and Jumping Through Them

This morning Grandpa was getting the girls ready to get on the bus for school. Our son was holding Harper and explained that when the afternoon bus came, she and her sister would be coming home with Grandpa for supper. Today is Mom's birthday and Dad is taking her out for a fancy supper-no place for children. Harper just said 1 single word-spaghetti. Dad told her that Grandpa would need to pass that message along to Nanny (me) when he came home. Willow and Harper can get me to jump through just about any hoop, and spaghetti, that is a really easy one. So, what's going on your table for supper, we're having spaghetti.

Happy Birthday to you DIL. I'm heating up some pinto beans with chicken sausages, it should be filling but now I want spagetti ..... oh well, I'll have that tomorrow

Thank you. They like to go to a place that grills the food right at their table, not quite the place to bring young children. I didn't want spaghetti, but I am out-numbered.

Harper knows exactly what she wants, and honestly spaghetti is a great pick. Those girls have you wrapped around their little fingers and I think you love it. Hope the birthday supper goes well for Mom too.

Thanks, yes they do have both Grandpa and I wrapped tightly, and we do both love it. Our son always told us that since twins run on his wife's side of the family, they would not have children, so you can imagine how thrilled we were to get the good news that they were having the babies. Our son and DIL like to go to a fancy place where they grill the food right at their table, it is no place for young children, this way they both get what they want.

I hope she has a wonderful birthday. Harper just has good taste. Spaghetti is definitely THE food to eat. All the cool kids are. I’m probably going to have a turkey sandwich. I’ve been craving a sandwich with a big juicy tomato slice x

Cute kids. I have a cute picture of my granddaughter at about 4 or 5 when I left the table for a minute after serving spaghetti. It was a mess. We are having salmon for dinner.

Lol I hope the spaghetti was /will be excellent I think Willow and Harper are lucky girls to have such great parents and grandparents Spaghetti, haven't had that for a while I am am a messy eater so tend to give it a miss
