Today's new addition to my desk at work

My buddy @AmbiePam occasionally sends the cats and me a box of goodies. It is so fun to find a box waiting for me at the door! One of things that arrived yesterday was this--I think it is a coaster. In any case it is perfect for the advisor of the Baking Club. It is a glass square with a cat looking like it is rolling something out with a rolling pin. It says: "Having a mental bake down". Teenagers never miss a trick so most of the students who approached my desk for whatever reason laughed because they know about the Baking Club. These are the little touches that help you to make a space at work your own.

Such a turn-around from last year. It's nice to have a few personal things around.

That coaster is so cute, and perfect for the Baking Club advisor. Getting a surprise box at the door is the best feeling. Love that the kids noticed it right away, those little touches really do make your desk feel like yours.
