If you don't fit into an introvert or extrovert or when you can be both, then you must be an otrovert. I am. I enjoy people, but only in the right dose. I like interactions but I don't chase them. I need space after being around people. Alone time helps me to recharge. I am most often misunderstood. Others see me as outgoing, others as distant. I've been told that many times. And I am comfortable being misunderstood. I can open up fast but pulled back fast as well. What I dislike most is forced or surface level interaction. I would cancel plans or leave early for no reason. I just want to protect my energy and I don't like explaining it. I connect deeply with very few people. I can be funny, confident and present when needed. But don't expect me to sustain that for long periods of time. Are you an otrovert like me?

I'm kind of like that too, but I always considered that being an introvert.

No, in person I am as introverted as it gets. Until I get to know someone.
