Had a ‘ find ‘ on Sunday …..sold it on Wednesday …..

As we were coming home from Moms on Sunday I noticed a child’s bike that looked like it was being thrown away …..it was outside a house , not on the drive but on the pavement. I knocked on the door and asked about it and the lady said, yes, it was to be thrown away so I could take it if I wanted it. Anyway, all it needed was a wipe over and the tyres pumped up. I put it up for sale on Sunday evening and I had a message just a few minutes ago with an offer of £50 ….i got him up to £55. He is coming to collect tomorrow afternoon. I’m very happy with £55 as it’s more than I thought I would get and it was found, cleaned, advertised, sold and gone within the week…. #happydays Did I do well ?

I guess I could have held out for the price I asked for, but to be honest I had put the price up knowing I would get an offer ….and the offer I had was the price I was thinking , then I got another £5 so win win ….

Thank you ….. Well done for getting more from SnapMyEats ….hope you have saved your receipts from this past week as you can start again on there tomorrow. I have my receipts ready and by the weekend when The Mister gets back I will have enough for his account too. I have found a new site too …if it works okay I will send you the info.

Yes you did really well, that's a great find and a nice bit of profit for hardly any work. Most people would have walked past that bike without a second look. Getting it sold in under a week and getting more than you expected is a proper win.

That’s what I thought …just a wipe and the tyres done …ready to go …. I could tell it had been looked after .
