Something I just noticed about the pool passes

When I first moved here you automatically got rubber wristbands to wear as your pass. Then they started charging us and we had to present laminated paper passes with our pictures on them. Each year we had to bring them back to the management office to be updated which literally was just changing a dot sticker from one year to another.
This year they went back to the rubber bracelets. Some people were tricky and ordered plain ones from Amazon to avoid paying the $50.
But I still have my bracelet. They didn't collect them. So if they stick with those for next summer I could just use it and not pay the $50.
In the grand scheme of everything it doesn't much matter though. The teenaged lifeguards don't ask to see passes. Hell they don't even watch us in the pool.
We shall see!

Ha the dot sticker thing made me laugh, that does sound like a lot of work for nothing. Honestly if they didnt collect your bracelet then I would just keep using it next summer. And the lifeguards not even checking passes is kind of funny, so you probably dont have much to worry about.
