Goodnight everyone / myLot

Today, Thursday around 11:36 p.m., it's 24 degrees Celsius. I just got back from my stepdad's tribute about two hours ago. It was really emotional. Out of his three sons, two were there. Friends and Rotary members spoke, and you could see how hard they were holding back tears. People talked about his legacy and the good things he did. I got home around 10pm o'clock. Because I spent so much time at the program, I had to rush through some other things when I got back. Later, I checked my lot.com. There were so many comments and notifications, which took about an hour. There's still no electricity. And even if power comes back, I'm not sure the voltage will be stable. It might mean the transformer is faulty. So we'll see. Tomorrow, I won't go to work because I'll be at the commemoration service for my stepdad. After that, I'll go to my stepmom's place. So, it's going to be a busy day and I won't be working. No updates for now. Wishing everyone a wonderful time. Goodnight

I'm glad it was a good service and hope you enjoyed visiting with everybody you knew, even if the reason you got to see them was sad. It's 8:10 pm in my part of the US and 20C now. We have storms happening here. It's supposed to keep storming for the next three days. Our low tonight is supposed to reach 17C. The air conditioning should shut off by the time it gets that cool outside.

Storms for three days sounds rough but at least the cooler air means the AC can finally take a break. Stay safe out there and hope the weather calms down soon.

@Wrexxo Thank you. It's about time we got rain here. Everything in our yard was looking tan instead of green. We can already see the grass starting to green up again. Of course, it's turning into fall here so the leaves on the trees will soon be turning all different colors before they fall off for the winter.

I am sorry to hear of your step dad's passing. It sounds like a very nice service was held today. That is so nice!! I hope your electricity comes back on soon and is stable.
