A part of my drive to work is quite relaxing

I'd posted about the chaotic traffic and pedestrians on my way to work a few days ago. Thankfully, not all of the drive is that crazy!
The initial part of the drive, till I reach the main road is pretty lush and quite scenic. Unfortunately it's all of two minutes!! At least, it does give a slightly relaxed start to the drive before all hell breaks loose!!

It so happens that at times, we remember the good part of the roads.
Happens with me as well.
The relaxed start is worth the time & effort.

Pretty scene in your shot.
I never liked the morning or evening commutes to or from work with all the crazies rushing to get to where they needed or wanted to be.

When I was still working, I had to drive 19 miles/about 30 km on highway that looked just like that. Once in a while, there were other vehicles on the roads with me but, usually, they were coming the other way so I didn't have to worry about them. I don't drive anymore although my daughter is talking about buying a three-wheel electric bike for me to ride around town.
