Good afternoon myLot

Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 85 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. This is my idea of PERFECT weather. Work was easy enough today--a vocab quiz and then they finished up yesterday's assignment. The in-class support teacher converted the quiz into a Google Form which auto-graded them for the 3 classes she is involved with. There's even a way to export the grades to the grading program we use. It is pretty cool. I am not that tech-savvy but I will figure out how to do it eventually. I'm back at the apartment with the cat crew. No big plans as per usual. I need to do the dishes and set up a grocery order but no rush on either. For now I'm just sitting down, resting, and catching up on the news and InternetLand. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

Pretty just got a flat tire on her new ebike. She was forced to go into a pothole and the tire instantly went flat. She pushed it to the gas station beside our house to air it back up. She's talking about buying an etrike for me to ride around town. We shall see what happens. I'm ready to go back to sleep now.

That happened to me once on my road bike. I had to walk the bike like a mile back to the house.

@NJChicaa That's about how far Pretty had to walk her bike, too. I'm glad neither one of you were any further from home than that.

I just took a break from hurriedly doing reviews on things I didn’t think were due yet. I guess I let my back distract me. Other than that, I’ve got a sports podcast on, and am trying not to go nuts over Sadie’s whining. She wants another treat, and she has had too many today already. So it’s basically my own fault. It’s only 69 degrees right now, and I am loving it. My air conditioner gets a rest.
