A Few Hours?

We were outside with the neighbors talking while trying to figure out what was going on with the power.
A couple city trucks came and were starting to work on it.
But they couldn't fix it, so they have to bring someone else in. Son once again it's quiet and dark.
The guy said it will be a few hours still, been off over 2 and a half already!
Oh, and only this side of the complex lost power.

I remember when we lived in the little apartment before we moved in here. (That must have been 23 years ago or so) We were fast asleep and heard a big BANG! It was a transformer and we were without power for about 5 hours. No Wifi yet so didn't hurt much. We entertained ourselves.

Well they did keep us company, till the power company people left the first time lol.
But they finally got it up, just before midnight, almost 5 hours!!

I get it. I’m just glad it’s not hot outside. When our power went out four days in July it got to 100 degrees. I guess it’s also good you’re not in deep winter. All that being said, it doesn’t make it any less frustrating to think about that. It’s still annoying.
