Is population the only problem?

Yesterday , we two had to take two short train trips. We travelled to a railway station on the other side of the Hoogly river. The trips were short but we had to face hassles and heckles enough. One reason of the sad experience was the crowd in the trains. We faced rude and uncivil behaviour during the short trips.
Come to think of it , is population the only problem? I don't think so. A large majority of my countrymen is uneducated, uncultured and uncivil. Some of my compatriots may jump upon me for saying this. The intolerance has risen to new heights in the recent years.
We get news of Indians being hated in Europe, Australia and America , Canada included.
I guess, my countrymen live there around you. Tell us how you find them.

I have believed for most of my life that too many, too much population is the root of all the earth's issues.

@AmbiePam I understand that but it's overpopulation that pollutes and strains the earth's resources and environment, places an incredible drain on power sources, need for housing and food. I dispute the need for more people. It's corporations and employers seeking a never ending supply of cheap and practically slave labor.

@JohnRoberts I think we’re just terrible stewards of the earth and we have a population problem of too many women having babies by five different men. We are definitely a problem.

The only way people can get along with each other is to be tolerant of each other and respect each other and I thinkg that is lacking in a lot of countries these days.

I don’t hear of any Indians being a problem with people in the United States. I’m sure there are people who show prejudice, but usually they are thought of to be hard working and intelligent. I went to school with about four Indian children, and 3 of the four were the smartest in my class.
The only complaint you’ll hear here of India is Indians in call centers over in actual India. We have a very hard time understanding their accents on the phone, and it can lead to a lot of frustration. I’m sure the people in the call centers get frustrated too.

I'm sorry that happened and hope things get better for you there.
The Indians that I know here in the US are normally very nice. Once in while, a teenager will say something that is offensive if they're by themselves and I try to talk to them but if their parents are anywhere around, the teenagers will be polite, too.
I try to get along with everybody and simply move away from anyone who is being rude/obnoxious.

The Indians I’ve met here are mostly lovely people. Lately they’ve faced more prejudice as they have taken over a lot of grocery stores and service stations. I heard that they can get cheap loans in India and our government also helps them. Some Australians see this as keeping out our own people.
