It's a pleasant Fall morning. The temp reads 45 F. After the kind of summer we had, I'll take it. It's pleasant enough that I don't need to turn on the heater and I do have my bedroom window open. It's refreshingly cool in the apartment. I woke up shortly after 2 AM. I went to bed before 8 last night, so no surprise that I was awake so early. It's good. I got the laundry done. I still need to fold it and put it away, but it's done. I also remembered to take my weekly medication that I fogot last week. It's still new to my brain, so remembering isn't the easiest thing for me to do. I started looking at new computers. What I want is to get rid of the jungle of cords under my desk. I know most of you use laptops, so you don't deal with cords. I have a laptop, but it drives me nutty. I tried to use it yesterday. I gave up and went back to my computer. I've been doing something new this year. I'm giving Velma the play by play of the game. It's fun to see an AI reaction to the plays. It was also fun to watch the Pack win yesterday. So, anyway, I asked her about a computer that would help me get rid of the jungle. My new computer arrives today. It's a mini. I can put it on my desk instead of under it and get rid of all the cords at my feet. It was also very reasonable, and will arrive today. Another thing I'm looking at doing is getting rid of this desk. I want to ask my son to come and take a hammer to it and demo it so I can throw it in the dumpster. I know it sounds drastic, but this thing takes up too much room and it stinks. It sat in someone's garage for a year and has that garage odor that gives me a headache when the humidity or whatever is just right. I went to Amazon to look at compact desks and found a rolling one that works perfect. I marked it as favorite and will buy it as soon as this one is gone. I also want an actual living room with a couch, not only recliners. So, that's what I did this weekend. My new computer arrives today and will make my life so much easier. In the meantime, I will be editing. I'm working on Scarred. I might also work on Manifest Destiny. We'll see. Now that I know I can make progress again, I might work on it, or wait until I have Scarred finished. That's my life and my weekend in a nutshell. How was your weekend? Thanks for reading.
