It’s 2:39 p.m in Lagos, and the sun's blazing, around 31 degrees Celsius. Really uncomfortable heat. We left my city at about 10am ..Thankfully, no hold-ups or traffic, and we reached Lagos around 1pm. We tried to check in, but the code we were sent was only valid from 2 p.m. They wanted us to pay 20,000 Naira for early check-in, so we just waited outside for an hour. At 2pm, we finally got in, and just settled. In a little less than an hour and a half, we'll be heading to the burial ceremony at 4pm. It was less stressful than I expected, and the arranged taxi service made everything easier. The journey went smoothly. The driver did a really good job. I wish everyone a peaceful afternoon.
