I am so glad to be back home for lunch to be with this little one. She's in a lot of stress and without me her world is crashing down. Danie is going through a phase in her heat cycle when she thinks she got pregnant and gave birth. She uses one of her toys as her surrogate baby. Nobody can touch it but me, she doesn't want anybody to see it but me. Not even her own daughter, Yuki, could play with her surrogate baby.

Poor Danie, I have heard of several dogs who think to get pregnant. The dog of my niece did the same, she had a toy that no one was allowed to touch.

Yeah, she treats it like her real puppy. She carries it in her mouth everywhere she goes and when I'm home, she gives it to me for safekeeping. She gets stressed a lot when I'm not home coz she searches for.a place to hide it.

Aww poor Danie, that sounds like a lot for her little heart. Its sweet that she trusts you with her baby when nobody else can touch it. Hope the phase passes soon and she feels better.

Yes. It was ok before coz I could stay with her the whole day. But now, that I'm away during the day, it makes me worry a lot.
