I found a "hauler' on YouTube that I like. She shows her haul and does reviews on the items gets/buys. When I had watch a couple episodes I wondered how she could afford to do all these hauls and how could she make any money. Doing some research I find that they get paid through ad revenue, affiliated marketing or product tagging, sponsored hauls and brand deals, and reselling and keeping items. She is also a personal shopper.
But these haulers can also write off much of what they buy as a tax write off and business expense which reduces their taxable income.
Cool way to make some $$.

Once in awhile, I'll watch dumpster divers, who find items businesses toss and the items the businesses didn't destroy, they either donate or resell for income. It's crazy what some find. Once you have a lot of subscribers built up, you can begin to monetize. I don't remember what YouTube's requirement is.

I'm not sure. I watch several where they visit goodwill or buy storage unit content at auction. It's amazing what they find sometimes. I get hooked.

They buy stuff from home decor stores, clothing and jewelry and then do videos on their 'hauls'.
