Hello everyone, how are you doing?
It's late here, so I think I will get some sleep soon.
The scale started to go down finally. Tomorrow will be weigh in day though. Did I get back to my lowest weight before I had the carbs? Probably not. But we will see.
What did I eat today?
Meal 1 - 2 eggs and 6 slices of bacon
Meal 2 - about 6 oz chicken breast breaded with pork panko (pork rinds) and cooked in beef tallow. Had some avocado mayo and sugar free BBQ sauce to dip them in.
Macros -- 1,051 calories, 2 carbs, 81 fat, 80 protein
Calories were a bit low and the fat, but otherwise pretty good macros for the day.
Now it is back to the drawing board of what to make tomorrow. The most difficult part of the diet, besides all the dishes.
This time the recipe worked so much better. The "breading" actually stuck to the chicken.

I can’t remember, is the sugar free sauce on the diet? I ask because I thought I remembered you saying that. Obviously, it is fine for most diets, but was there something carnivore didn’t allow that sugar free products had? Not that you need to go without it. It’s not like you’re drinking it.

@MommyOfEli2013 I don’t blame you with the sodas. I cut the sugar from my diet, but not my soda. I just drink less of it.

No, it's not really carnivore since it doesn't come from an animal. But I'm allowing a few sugar free things to help me stick to it. Like my zero sugar sodas lol.

How do you count calories?
Can you given me some tips?

Just now
@rakski Can you use an app like myfitnesspal? You can find all the foods you eat on there and just add how much per meal. I can try to help more but not sure beyond that lol

That could always help. I do it to make sure I get enough protein, and at least over 1200 calories, which I'm struggling lol.
That's good about the two walks, that always can help.
I need to start working out myself

That’s a low calorie count, so the weight should start to drop off if the rest of your days are similar.
Occasionally, as a treat, I love a full English breakfast. So to your bacon and eggs, I would add beans, mushrooms, maybe tomatoes, black pudding and sausages, with a couple of slices of toast, and a cup of tea. I used to love fried bread with it, but I don’t have it any more. Not healthy you see. As if the rest was!

Well that is too low, once I started eating more after many days like this I would just gain I am sure. I want to try to at least get 1200 calories, probably closer to 1400.
I can't imagine that breakfast, lots of stuff that don't sound too tasty lol. But since you had it as a treat, I can tell you liked it. I'll stick to my bacon and eggs lol

@MommyOfEli2013 Oh, it’s all tasty, that why I enjoy it. When I say beans, I mean baked beans in tomato sauce that has paprika in it. That’s what gives them the delicious kick.
I know you don’t like veg, but what about the black pudding? Is that something you’d eat? That’s very tasty!

Yes that's good news. It's frustrating trying to lose weight, especially when I have over 100 to still go. The scale wasn't too kind, but least it still went down today
It was not too bad with the pork breading this time, and that is good that it stuck
