All of a sudden women in ads look like Meghan Markle? It happened back in the mid-1970s when King Charles, then Crown Prince married Lady Diana. Ads showed women advertising things who looked a lot like Lady Di. I'm not sure about advertisers using women who looked like Kate Middleton. I'm not sure, but on the one hand, her looks, while really beautiful, are more... I hate to say common... but maybe not as striking as Meghan or Lady Di's. So, have you noticed? Do you agree? Probably I should ask if you were even around back when we were looking at the marriage of Chuck and Diana?

No I did not, but may be because I do not find Markle at all beautiful, such a fake smile.

Honestly, since I don't watch TV, I didn't even know she was an actress until they told us. I'm not sure beautiful really is what she is, pretty, yes. Interesting... I'm thinking that maybe outside of the U.S. and Canada you may not be seeing her. Not sure about Canada.

No, I have not noticed that at all. I do remember the days people were hiring those who resembled Kim Kardashian. Thank goodness those days are over.

Yes, I have noticed this some. I am sure it is to attract attention, as she is in the news a lot. Whether she wants to be, or not.

I just find it startling. I'm not what anyone would call a Royal follower. (I have really gotten into Taylor Swift because so many of her songs are story songs and I love story songs.) Maybe it isn't as much outside of the U.S.
