Hearing Crying and Screaming Children Outside Drives Me Nuts

The kids around here are so wild and loud. Housing has sent a notice around reminding families that we have a "quiet time" here from 10p. to 8a. each night. The kids were sometimes up and still out as late as 12:30a. and not necessarily just on the weekends. Every night. Ugh! It gets old. Screeching and screaming kids. And when they would add crying to it I felt so bad. I couldn't just jump up and run out to see if the poor child was alright. So it would cause me some anxiety. Usually my grandson would hear them too and he would go out and check but not always.
Do you feel that way if you hear kids crying? Their parents are never around. Could be in a drug induced super somewhere. (Did you hear about the woman who recently went off on a cruise and left her two toddlers and two older kids at home?)
Gheez! What a world we live in. You'd think at age 74 my hearing would be less acute but no, no it seems better than when I was younger.

I know what you mean since I have to deal with the noises of my nephew who has special needs screaming at the television in the living room during early morning hours,

Ugh! I was taught to be very quite and let the adults sleep when I was up for cartoons on a Saturday morning.

That's usually what they are doing here too. But occasionally there is crying.

Parents can't parent anymore and their ill-behaved kids are the result. And we blame screens because....

Yeah that can really be annoying and makes one wonder where the parents are.

From what I can tell parents are much too lax with kids and they run wild and that is not good as tehy get older they are hard to control.
