Navi Pillay, a South African woman, has been awarded the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize. She has served as a UN human rights chief and judge on several international courts. The Nobel committee stated that she was selected "for her efforts to promote peace and international law" and her human rights advocacy. Not surprisingly Trump threw a hissy fit about it yesterday--both posting on his stupid social media site as well as whining at his rally in New York. He yet again falsely claimed that he settled 8 wars. Funny that he hasn't been able to stop the Russia/Ukraine war that he promised he would settle "on day 1" of his second term. Oh and how is that whole thing with Israel and Hamas going? Being the classless jackass that he is of course he bashed Pillay as a liberal "who no one has ever heard of" and said that the prize has now been completely discredited. What a sore loser.
