Inktober Day 3, Miniature

For Day 3, I embraced the world of gaming miniatures, making a little Gandalf, or some generic wizard, used for a tabletop role-playing game. Since I was thinking of a pewter miniature rather than a painted sculpt, I used grey as my color of choice. I also established the rule that anything that doesn't make sense to be the predominating color is just done in black linework; I didn't want to take the focus off my little wizard by coloring the fingers holding him.

Love that you went with grey to get the pewter look, it actually works really well. The black linework for the hands was smart too, keeps all the focus on the little wizard. Pretty cool idea for day 3.

Excellent! And I think one neutral color is perfect, so it’s up to the individual to decide if this is a good wizard or a bad one.

Very nice although until you said it was a pewter mini, I was thinking a midnight blue would have worked better.

I was so focussed on the little figure, I had to go back and look at the fingers! I hadn't noticed them at all. Is that good? Or bad? Or just 'is'?

I like the thought of imagining pewter for the figurine. I can totally see that.
