What are some of your favorite scary movies?

I realize not everybody watches these, but if you do which ones are your favorites? My all time favorites are the Omen movies. They are in a class by themselves. Ghost movies like The Sixth Sense, and The Others are good. Not into slasher flicks, but Halloween and Scream were good. My favorite is in insidious creeping dead that infiltrates the character's lives. If you are into scary stuff, do you have any suggestions?

I enjoyed the Amityville shows. Not into the slasher ones either. I like to see a plot.

I like those old time vampire movies, before they became bloody slasher movies. The one I like most was released in 1979. And then there's the Mummy, the really old one and the one with Brendon Fraser. And then there's the really old Frankinstein movie. And then there are many of those movies with Vincent Price, he was so funny in so many of his so called horror movies. Ok, I admit it, I don't have a favorite. Maybe those will give you an idea?

Most scary movies I don't like for one reason or another so I have to carefully read reviews.

Omen movies are such a good pick, the first one still creeps me out. I love The Others too, that ending got me good. If you havent seen it yet, try Hereditary, it stays in your head for days.

I saw that about 6 months ago. You are right. That is a good one. I could rewatch, but it's pretty intense.
